Job Description – Associate Manager – Finance

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 2–5 years (Post Qualification)

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team as an Associate Manager – Finance. The role involves managing the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance of our Canada and US-based entities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Candidates with prior experience handling overseas entities, particularly North American companies, will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for multiple Canada and US entities.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements, consolidation schedules, MIS reports, management reports, and variance analysis for leadership.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and general ledger activities.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and financial reporting matters.
  • Support statutory audits, financial audits, and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute towards automation and strengthening finance processes.
  • Handle ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements as requested by management.

Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 2–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) is mandatory.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including functions, Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • · Experience in an IT/ITES or other service-based industry is preferred.
  • · Experience handling accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation for Canada and/or US entities will be an added advantage.
