Smart Contract Engineer – Digital Securities / Asset Tokenization
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Smart Contract Engineer to develop and implement blockchain-based solutions for regulated digital asset issuance and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Solidity development, tokenization platforms, and smart contract development on Ethereum or other EVM-compatible blockchain networks.
The engineer will be responsible for developing smart contracts supporting issuance, transfers, coupon distribution, redemption, maturity processing, compliance controls, and other token lifecycle functions for digital securities and tokenized financial assets.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on blockchain and smart contract development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Solidity and Ethereum smart contract development.
- Experience developing and deploying smart contracts on Ethereum, Polygon, or other EVM-compatible blockchain platforms.
- Strong understanding of ERC token standards including ERC-20 and other tokenization frameworks.
- Experience building token issuance and lifecycle management solutions.
- Experience implementing:
- Token issuance and minting
- Token transfers
- Redemption and burn mechanisms
- Access control and role management
- Smart contract upgradeability patterns
- Experience integrating smart contracts with backend applications, APIs, and blockchain nodes.
- Strong understanding of blockchain security best practices and common smart contract vulnerabilities.
- Experience with smart contract testing frameworks and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain development tools and frameworks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Security Tokens, Digital Securities, or Asset Tokenization Platforms.
- Experience with tokenized bonds or fixed income products.
- Experience with regulated token implementations and compliance-enabled smart contracts.
- Familiarity with ERC-1400, ERC-3643, or similar security token frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain smart contracts for digital asset issuance and lifecycle management.
- Implement token issuance, transfers, coupon distribution, redemption, and maturity workflows.
- Build compliance-enabled smart contracts supporting KYC, AML, whitelisting, and transfer restrictions.
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Domain SMEs to translate business requirements into blockchain solutions.
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated smart contract test suites.
- Perform code reviews and participate in security-focused development practices.
- Integrate smart contracts with backend systems, APIs, wallets, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance smart contract performance and security.
- Support deployment, testing, and production releases of blockchain applications.
- Contribute to technical documentation and implementation standards.
