Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps/SRE Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on scalable systems, deployment automation, reliability engineering, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
- Support cloud infrastructure setup and monitoring across environments
- Work with development teams to automate deployment and operational processes
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities
- Help maintain logs, dashboards, alerts, and monitoring tools
- Support containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes
- Contribute to infrastructure automation using scripting tools
- Ensure system security, backup, and compliance best practices are followed
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of DevOps and SRE concepts
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Basic scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, or Bash
- Understanding of monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security concepts
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus
- Good Communication Skills
