Role Overview: The QA Engineers will design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for the AI Inventory CMDB project, ensuring high-quality deliverables across ServiceNow modules, data pipelines, integrations, and reporting components. These roles require strong automation expertise and experience with ServiceNow testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks using ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) for regression and smoke testing.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ServiceNow CMDB, workflows, and custom applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modules.
• Perform API testing for ServiceNow REST/SOAP integrations using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Test data pipeline functionality, data quality rules, and ETL/ELT workflows for accuracy and completeness.
• Validate CMDB configuration items, relationships, discovery processes, and service mapping accuracy.
• Test catalog items, Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and approval workflows.
• Conduct UI testing for ServiceNow forms, lists, dashboards, and custom portal pages.
• Validate SLA configurations, notifications, ACL behavior, and multi-step workflow functionality.
• Log defects in JIRA or similar tools with detailed reproduction steps, severity levels, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts in Agile sprints for early defect identification.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing with strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow testing including ATF, module validation, and workflow testing.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Playwright for UI testing.
• Experience with API testing tools including Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test types (functional, regression, smoke, integration), and best practices.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules including Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, and Catalog.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration of automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for defect documentation and stakeholder updates [5].

• ServiceNow certification or specialized training in ServiceNow testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Understanding of security testing and accessibility testing standards.
